[124] I'm having a nicely busy weekend (it had been a while) so just a short message to tell I'm gonna work at the FRET-alive festival in a minute.
I don't expect to come home sober tonight, heheeee.

[123] I just watched the Passion of the Christ.
It's very much in today's language I think and in that way very horrid.
The images are very strong and I certainly see why it reaches so many people.
When I was twelve I saw Jesus Christ Superstar, in that time that was a very controversial movie and it touched me very much.
In that time I was still very much developing my religion and I always felt really close to Jesus in a way that the things they describe him saying in the bible always seemed very natural to me.
To me it seemed only normal that one should honor your parents and love your neighbour and not take what doesn't belong to you.
Now one can see all around that to a lot of people this isn't that natural.
So I think it is very good that that message is brought to us in yet another way, in a way that todays people can understand, what strikes me most about the movie, about this time we live in, that we need so much cruelty to understand that message.

[122] Since Uru isn't live anymore I have been searching for other games to play.
I haven't been much of a gamer since I only like the non-violent adventure kinda games and there isn't too much around that besides that also look good enough for me, since I don't like the comic-style games.
What I like about a game is when it speaks to my fantasy and my lust for wandering in strange worlds.
I guess I read fantasy books for the same reason.
As a child I always fantasised I lived in a gypsy wagon, wandering the world in a slow pace so I could take in the surroundings, I still don't like traveling fast.

I'm trying to find all the music of dead can dance and lisa gerrard.

The picture was taken in a not so nice place actually, in a concentrationcamp, probably the things you'd rather not think about, but I really like the picture and maybe even the emotion that lies behind it.
In fact to me a log is in some way related to emotion, so I think it fits perfectly.
I also went through my links, deleted some death links and put some new ones in, I must warn you, some of the links are still in dutch, but hey maybe it makes you want to learn the language.

[117] So, it's exactly a year ago I last posted on this board, funny thing is, if you forget to properly look at the date you could even mistake it for being yesterday, hehehe.
I decided to start writing this log in english, since there's so many of you out there that I know that can't speak any dutch (or just very little, eh sean ;-)
At the moment I'm sitting at home kinda being ill, my throat hurts and my neck and my head is groggy and I got overall muscle-aches......does sound like flu to me........yuk........and I got enough of it, I wanna be healthy.
I just read this really good thought on that new movie the passion of christ:
"I wonder if Jesus imagined one day there'd be people watching him die on the cross while they munched some popcorn, lite butter."
it was in this log.
One of my biggest passions lately is a game that I had been waiting quite a while for, UrU.
It would have been the first game I was going to experience online.
Sadly enough after we were able to play a sort-of beta version of it it was decided by ubi that they couldn't get enough people to go pay for it so they stopped it.
Through playing the game I came to this forum and it's the best I ever bumped on, really everybody is nice there and not in a slimy kind of way, but really perfectly plain nice.
