[133] Ok so we were in Memphis
Of course we went to the Sun studios.

That impressed me way more than that whole Graceland thing.
Sweet to be at the place were Johnny Cash roamed !

We heard of the Motel-lady that they were making a film about him just 2 weeks before around the studios.
All in style, with old cars and people in the old fashion of the late fifties, early sixties.
Of course we wished we had been there a few weeks earlier !!!!
I now look forward to a movie about Johnny Cash though, that's sweet enough.
From Memphis we went down into Mississippi.
First thing that struck me there were the trees that were totally grown over with some kind of ivy.
They looked like strange sculptures, very weird.

We ended up calling them fuck-you-forests, cause they looked like middlefingers being stretched out to you, hehehehe.
Too bad I didn't get to make a really good picture of them, cause we were driving by all the time and there was no chance to stop.

[132]
Yah yah yah.
I know.
It's been some time again.
I guess I am too busy having a holiday, hehehe.
Too bad it's almost over and I have to leave my love behind again for again some months of not seeing eachother.
It really get's harder every time.
Must be also because you get to know eachother better every time and then when you start to get used to eachother in a certain way you have to leave again.
We sure had a lot of fun though.
Our roundtrip was marvelous !
We first went through Arkansas and made a stop in Hot Springs to get some gallons of fresh springwater there.

Those springs really were HOT, almost to the boil.
Then we went to Memphis and stayed there for a couple of days, of course we went to Beale street.
Which is nothing like it was in the early days, of course, well it was all commercialised, but still, it WAS Beale street.

And of course we went to Graceland, to me that was kinda...well.....since I really don't like Elvis, so it was kinda awfull in some ways to go there.

I certainly got a total overdose of Elvis there.
And I am now sure that they shouldn't call him King of Rock and Roll, but KING OF BAD TASTE !!!!!!!!

Those rooms were TERRIBLE.
And the clothes he used to wear !!!!!!!!!!
DAAAAAAAAMN
I mean a jumpsuit is awfull in itself but the ones he had EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

[131]
Ok, it's the 7th day I am in the USA now
I guess my jetlag is done now, but it really harder to come this way then to go from here to europe.
I saw some really nice shows on the 3th and the 4th of july.
Of course at last I saw my man play and he dedicated THE song to me for full audience, now THAT is something.
Then we went to Forth Worth for Willy Nelson's Picnic.
Daaaaaaamn it was HOT, that was the not so fun part of it.
but for the rest it ROCKED.
Especially seeing David Allen Coe play again.
That guy to me is amazing.

NOW if that ain't country, I kiss your ASS
